Rose Marie wanted 4 grandchildren and she felt a boy first and girl second fit perfectly in the family. Both kids followed her lead and gave a grandson first and granddaughter second. (As though she placed an order)

Rose Marie spent all the time she could with these four kids, playing with them, reading to them, taking them to church, taking them out to eat, and listening to their every word. She exemplified the doting grandma and initiated hugs when arriving and leaving their presence. Usually some kind of marshmallow/candy treat arrived with her.
